Leading Teams Platform core experiences area that powers all the extensible components in Teams, with a team of extremely talented and motivated engineers.

• Leading all client-side feature developments in the Apps Core area of Microsoft Teams Platform. Most recent one is the Teams apps platform integration in Windows 11.
• Designated Performance Champ for Teams Platform, responsible for driving fundamental and performance improvements to make Teams Platform scalable, reliable and extensible. Some of the recent wins are:
  • Make Teams platform operational in low bandwidth and offline network state.
  • Rearchitected some of the critical components that reduced network call volume in millions per day and make the platform scalable for any exponential growth.
  • Migrated platform components to new React - GraphQL architecture.
• Driving all data related requirements for Teams platform to facilitate better system monitoring, data driven decision making and platform insights.
• Maintain high product quality by continuous code refactoring, regular peer code review, increasing test coverage and improving accessibility, telemetry and monitoring.
• Mentor developers to ramp up, deliver and grow.
• Provide technical guidance to different teams across Microsoft.

• Led the design, development and release of multiple business critical projects with multiple cross-functional teams across different organizations and geographic locations successfully. Some of the major ones are:
  Line-of-business application capability in Microsoft Teams, which created a lot of excitement in Microsoft Build 2018 and helped increase active usage. Numerous companies have built and deployed such applications that helped them automate and integrate their business processes inside Teams.
• App policy for tenant admins to control apps in Teams. This enabled tenant admins to better control Teams apps in their tenant, which in turned increased apps usage in Teams. It also enabled important user scenarios such as for front-line workers.
• Low-code no-code app development capability in Microsoft Teams with Microsoft Power Platform. This enabled app developers and organizations to integrate important workflows into Teams with next to no coding. It contributed to the growth of both Teams platform and Power platform usages.

Developed some of the critical workflows of extensibility platform of Microsoft Teams, which was shipped as part of Teams app platform GA.

• Designed, developed and released multiple frontend and backend features of Citrix ShareFile
  such as REST APIs, multiple micro-services, encrypted email, localization, multi-product
  account cancellation pipeline, ShareFile - Citrix Cloud integration and parts of information
  rights management.
• Led the effort of building a large-scale data analytics pipeline for ShareFile to successful
  completion, which is currently being used for all data-driven decisions in the organization.
• Led a team of graduate students from Duke University to develop ShareFile’s first ‘smart’
  feature using machine learning, natural language processing, and optical character recognition,
  which excited the executives with new possibilities and lead to further investments in this area.

Introduced FlickBazar, one of India's pioneering digital reseller platforms, and JhatkaDeals, an online deals aggregator. Achieved consistent growth in website traffic with a favorable conversion rate. Successfully implemented sponsored posts that attracted paid partnerships, further enhancing our revenue streams.

Conducted in-depth research on image segmentation algorithms, image feature extraction techniques, and classification algorithms for the precise identification of lung and sarcoma cancer within CT scan images. Collaborated closely with the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and received sponsorship from the National Institute of Health (NIH) for this research initiative.

I graded projects and homework assignments and oversaw proctored exams for a class of 56 students in the Object-Oriented Design course. I helped students learn Object Oriented programming by guiding them through their class projects.
